Firing
Firing is the stage where the ceramic acquires its final characteristics: strength, compactness and dimensional stability.
The kiln is used for both the bisque firing of the raw, unglazed piece and the glaze firing of the finished ceramic, offering the flexibility to adapt to different firing methods and production requirements.
Outdoor ceramics undergo fast firing, while refractories require a slower, more demanding cycle, needed to fully develop the material’s technical properties. Operating temperatures range between 1,000°C and 1,250°C, depending on the type of product and the specific processing requirements.
