Refractory materials are Stilgres’s core business. Strength
Our white refractory has a hard, compact structure with high mechanical resistance to impact and wear. It reliably withstands temperatures between 1,150°C and 1,200°C and offers excellent resistance to thermal shock, sudden temperature changes and the continuous stresses of everyday use, characteristics verified over time through field testing and years of real-world operation.
Energy Savings
The material is a stoneware body with chamotte, designed to store and retain the heat generated inside combustion chambers, gradually releasing it into the room even after the stove or fireplace has been switched off. This results in greater system efficiency, lower fuel consumption and a longer-lasting, more even sense of warmth.
Design
Its bright, uniform white colour is one of the features that sets this refractory apart in the market. The light surface enhances the brilliance of the flames and gives the inside of the stove or fireplace a clean, elegant look, suited to both classic and contemporary designs. Shape and geometry can be customised to order, based on the manufacturer’s specifications and project requirements.
